Called to renew a medication & expected to call back to schedule a May grooming appointment. Ashley was more than happy to take care of both my issues. I was a bit discombobulated at the start of the conversation...because I was expecting to leave a msg. & wait on a call back. We laughed over this issue. Kristen has been able to win over my very nervous Gino ( he had very bad anxiety over grooming) But because of Kristen we have been able to cut back on his anxiety meds before grooming. ABSOLUTELY love ALL of the ppl at Glenwood ❣️

Experiencia fantástica: This was just a grooming visit. Rachel has been my groomer for years. My Havanese has very bad anxiety if I am not with her and Rachel always takes that into consideration. Prices are reasonable and the front desk staff is always friendly and courteous. Im fighting metastatic disease and my baby doesnt leave my side and with the way the weather has been and having a white dog, Rachel and her staff went way above and beyond any expectations. She is truly a miracle worker and so is her staff, they have huge hearts and I would highly recommend Rachel/GPH if you're looking for grooming needs. And their fees are the most reasonable in town.

From check in to pick up to addressing some concerns post op, it was a positive experience considering the situation and everyone made us feel she was being given the best care. When we made the heartbreaking decision to put our older dog to sleep, they were so caring and supportive that when we finally choose to get a new puppy - there was no other place we wanted to trust with our new family member.

I asked if they could trim his nails....she said he was there for a shot and nail trim wasn't scheduled.They did the trim but she said I need to desensitize him because he doesn't like the procedure. Not a very warm employee. I paid $24 for the trim and the check out girl wasn't friendly either. He is a handful around people and very friendly. I drove from Harborcreek to Millcreek and left there wondering if I want to return. A smile would really help people feel welcome.

Also the techs were very gentle and so good with him! He has a lot of anxiety and the knew exactly what to do to keep him calamity and comfortable!

Experiencia fantástica: My Seth had a complete blockage and was unable to pee because he had bladder stones . My regular vet wanted an absurd amount of money to help him . An amount most people could not afford. I brought him to Glenwood and they were so kind and compassionate. They were able to unblock him and he had surgery to remove the stones today . Dr Weaver was so kind explaining everything along the way and taking excellent care of my seth . The cost ended up being less than half of what my regular vet charges . Glenwood cares about pets and owners and not just about money . Thanks to Glenwood my sweet cat will be coming home alive and we will hopefully have many more years together . I am switching all my pets over to Glenwood and I highly recommend them !

He put my mind at ease for things I was worried about and looked into other options for a problem I’ve been having with them and I’m just all around, pleased with how good he was with my baby boy. Experiencia fantástica: Glenwood pet hospital has been a thoughful and caring place to have our two most beloved babies cared for these past four and a half years. Nala our Pyreadoodle 4.5 years old and Mosa our Bernadoodle 4 years old have been in the care of the veterinarians at Glenwood. Recently, we have gone through some shifting on our dogs diets as we tried Ollie's dog food as well as the Farmer's dog. Although our dogs did eat both, they were not overly thrilled about their food some days and at the cost as well as the question of nutritional needs we have chosen to go another direction. Since meeting with Dr Weaver who has recently becomes certified in analyzing your dog's specific dietary needs and coming up with a very specific diet of the same "people" foods prepared in exact specification for your dog. I will just quickly say that Dr Weaver has put a tremendous amount of time in the analysis and communication with my wife back and forth as far as the completion and execution of our dogs new diets. I would like to warn you ahead of time that if you choose to go this route this is a bit labor intensive. However, once you have it down I think you will be beyond pleased with the results, and your dogs will be much healthier, and live a longer life than when eating Kibble or the other mentioned foods above. We are spending actually a little less (still a fair chunk of change!! ;)) than we would have with the other two above mentioned foods you can order for your dog. But at this point our dogs are actually eating the same types of foods we eat (and loving the food!) that are highly specific in their nutritional needs while targeting the same thing that many of us do for ourselves in trying to eat more healthy and less processed foods. Dr Weaver specifically needs to be called out for the effort and excellence that she has put forth in caring for our dogs. She has gone above and beyond, and I really appreciate the fact that she has become certified in this area so that we have the opportunity to have our dogs live as long and healthy life as possible. Most pet owners obviously are animal lovers and many will sometimes sell their soul so to speak to care for their loved ones. We are no different than any of you that may be reading this. My wife and I would like to give our two girls the best life they can possibly have while we have time with them. If you are interested in maximizing your dogs health and lifelongevity then I would highly encourage you to meet with Dr Weaver for a consultation and different direction in the way that you meet your dogs nutritional needs in the future. Losing a pet is so heartbreaking but Dr. Pierce was patient, kind, and compassionate. It was the best possible experience given the circumstances, thanks largely to him. Now we have a reactive dog and while it’s a little more stressful going to the vet with her, everyone at Glenwood helps to make it a better experience. We are so grateful to have a vet we trust fully with her care.

An hour before the appointment I get a call saying that my car did not meet the 10 day quarantine. After I scheduled time off of work. This is completely unprofessional and highly disrespectful of a persons time. I’m going elsewhere for my cats rabies shot.

When my 4yo German Shepherd, Nova, was diagnosed with brain cancer, she gave him the best end of life care and came to our home to put him down so he would be comfortable. The care we received then, and now with our 9 month old Shepherd, is unmatched- highly recommend.

Experiencia negativa: I wasn't happy with the doctor, it's like he didn't listen to me. He tried to give me meds for my dogs that I never get. They took mu dog out of the room to give her her shots they have NEVER done that with her before and he comes in to tell me that she lifted her lip at him so they were going to muzzle her. I said she has NEVER done that and the other doctors that she has seen in the 4yrs that I rescued her have always examined her in the room with me without any issues. I said your going to muzzle her he said by the time I'm done talking to you they will be done with her. I WAS NOT PLEASED AT ALL. SHE WILL NEVER SEE THAT VET AGAIN HIS NAME IS DR. ALEXANDER DAVIS. I AM VERY DISPLEASED WITH GLENWOOD

Experiencia positiva: Emergency vet visits are never going to be easy on the wallet. So if I can get past the man made illusion of money and focus on the very real care then I can give a good review. Efficient would be the best way to describe the process for the after hours visits. They have a system, you wait in your car ( I imagine for their safety) but they call you as many times as needed. Sadly I did see a family retreat to their car with their sick Golden Retriever, and driving away without a visit. Most likely because of the high cost of the visit a week before Christmas, Seeing how they had three children I can Understand. My girl is home with her meds and hopefully will not need a follow up visit. The price was higher than expected but what do you do when you have a fur baby who needs medical attention after hours ?

Experiencia positiva: I didn't like the dog being treated on the floor I prefer the dog to be on a table. It was very cold in the room I don't mean temperature I mean feeling. I don't know if I liked I'm taking the dog to the back to treat it. It seemed odd to me. The front said no pull up leashes so we put on the one they had hanging there. My dog was choking everywhere. He doesn't sit still so having a rope around his neck is not a good idea. I don't know why you can't use a pull out leash. My dog was treated well and I the services I requested.

Experiencia fantástica: Hi, we’re Charlie and Penny — two outrageously good-looking dogs with excellent manners, advanced treat-negotiation skills, and a shared belief that everything is about us. Yes, we wrote this review. Charlie dictated while Penny typed with her nose because Charlie’s paws are basically decorative. The second we strutted in, the front desk greeted us like celebrities who definitely weren’t hiding from the paparazzi. Penny assumed they recognized her from her backyard runway career. Charlie figured word had finally spread about his heroic defense against the evil UPS truck. The vets and techs? Absolute legends. They talked to us like equals — which is correct — and explained everything to our human in a gentle tone usually reserved for frightened woodland creatures. They were so kind and calm that even Charlie didn’t try to fake an injury for sympathy snacks. The whole place is spotless and organized, which is suspicious because our house never looks like that. They also offer grooming and a drive-through pharmacy, which our human worships because it prevents her from having to drag Charlie inside like an unwilling 40-pound croissant. We rate this clinic 5 paws up — the canine equivalent of winning an Oscar, a Grammy, and unlimited chicken nuggets. If we had thumbs, we’d give it 10 stars… but evolution failed us.

Experiencia fantástica: I am very pleased with Glenwood Pet Hospital.I recently brought my 16 year old cat to Glenwood. First of all the staff is kind, treating both the animals and their families with kindness and concern. I have also spent hours over the last year or so waiting in the waiting room as a ride for my daughters' as they had their cat seen by the staff. I watched as they effieciently and professionally kept not only the appointments rolling smoothly, but also walk-in patients too. All without making anyone feel rushed or a bother. I would recommend them highly.
