Experiencia fantástica: We’ve had our older dog go to Colonial Park Veterinary Hospital for awhile now, and had negative experiences with the care, cost, and overall attitude they’ve provided. So, when we got a new puppy, we listened to a friend and took them to P.E.T.S. We noticed almost immediately how friendly and welcoming the staff were towards us, and how loving and attentive they were towards our baby. The service and the care was so good, my partner and I were talking about it long after the appointment. The entire experience was so positive that we happily go in for our pets appointments without any anxiety, knowing that the staff are going to take very good care of our pets. We donate to them every time, and we very much recommend them.

Experiencia fantástica: My dog Jack is a big baby. He never goes anywhere so when I do take him to be vet he's scared to death. He refuses to walk into the building and since he weighs almost 90lbs. I can't carry him in. It takes 2 or 3 people to get him inside and each time the employees have been so nice and patient with him. I can't compliment them enough for how they treat him. They're all great. Hopefully, Jack will get over being so anxious about going to the vet, but until then I really appreciate how everyone helps with him. God bless.

On Wednesday morning, we had to rush our furry baby Phillie to the emergency vet, and I'm so grateful we chose them. The staff acted FAST and efficiently, working tirelessly to diagnose and treat her. The entire team, from the front desk ladies to the amazing techs (Selena, you rock!), showed compassion and understanding that went above and beyond. The vet herself was phenomenal - I wish I could remember her name to give her the proper credit! The clinic was spotless and organized, and it was clear that the care and well-being of all the animals was top priority. Experiencia negativa: I have been seeing these guys every week because of my dog having a medical emergency (caused by the medications given to her by this clinic) and now because thwir doctors quit they will mot see my dog for an emergency and will stop seeing her. I have spenf 600$ in January alone just trying to get my baby better and because their doctor quit last week they will not longer treat the ongoing issue they were treating amd told me to go to another vet

Experiencia fantástica: Staff is unbelievably awesome! I took my Service Dog DeeBo in for an irritated eye around noon knowing it would be a 50/50 chance to be seen. The Staff was able to squeeze us in and treat DeeBo. I’m a truck driver from West Texas and I don’t have that much down time so having DeeBo seen is a Blessing. Thank you all so much again!

Experiencia positiva: Took Oreo to get fixed on December 9th 2024. My brother dropped him off at 7:30 and I got emailed he was doing good and then my brother picked him up at 4 o’clock after hearing how we should keep cats indoors after fixing and all that stuff. After a few days I noticed Oreo would smell like pee after sleeping in a spot and he wouldn’t jump anymore to get food, made sure he drank water and gave him wet food and after a couple days my brother took him in and the vet had said if there are any differences in your pet you can bring them in for the problem and wouldn’t have to pay if they believe there was a problem with the cat, related to surgery. Which there was and it wasn’t normal for Oreo to pee on himself while sleeping. So my brother took him in and they tried to charge him for a shot of convenia. Which is a powerful antibiotic. I’ve heard many different stories about the antibiotic so I was a little scared at first, but then they didn’t charge him because the problem was surgery related. He had a hole in his surgery area on his stomach. they gave me wipes to wipe the area with. He has since recovered and we will be going back to P.E.T.S. though the staff are actually really rude. They all act like they hate there jobs and if anyone does anything wrong they all act like the owner of the animal are complete idiots. From experience I had one of the vet doctors she sounded foreign and I told her that my dog was very itchy and her hair was balding and skin was turning black and she told me to change her diet and she said that the dog was allergic to chicken, beef, and something else. I had told her she had been eating chicken and beef all her life. then she practically yelled at me for saying that. She said “WELL YOUR DOG IS ALLERGIC TO CHICKEN AND BEEF (and something else) YOU NEED TO CHANGE HER FOOD TO A DIFFERNT BRAND AND DIFFERENT PROTIEN”. She went and printed off a brand of dog food which was purina and told me to change it. I did not appreciate being yelled at over a simple question I’m only 19 I don’t have that much experience with dog allergies. I didn’t know someone or anything can somehow become allergic to something. I’m just saying the staff is somewhat unprofessional and rude at times. I did change her food to something else, but it didn’t really help at all. So I started giving her a bath once every week and it helped a bunch. In the photos of the dog her skin is much better on her back than it was.

Experiencia negativa: I called this morning to make my dog Milo his appointment for his shots that he need for this years, a Lady on the the phone had told me that I had to pay first to make his appointment, I had never in my life have to pay first to make any of my pets appointments till after the appointment is over. Pet clinics i thought y’all was better then this. I’m so disappointed in y’all

Experiencia fantástica: Wonder experience at PETS. They took great care of my 3 cats. I would absolutely recommend them to see your pets. I will say they are very busy. If you are bringing a cat or cats in a cage be sure to bring a blanket to put over them. Lots of big dogs wanting to say hello. I would absolutely say a cage is must for a cat when bringing them in to be seen. The Dr. Came in looked over my pets and did a great job. Quick and easy. Great front desk employee, nice and professional. Check out was easy and fast. I like that it was away from all the commotion up front with checking in patients. Prices are amazing compared to what I would have paid at a private Clinic. A++

Experiencia positiva: Caring veterinarian and vet techs. Takes walk in patients for vaccinations.. Very reasonable prices. What is not to love ? ------ What I wrote above was my initial 5-star review. ANd most of it is still true. Althiugh, "what is not to love" part has changed today. I had to take one of my dogs, who developed a limp over the weekend, for a walk-in visit. And nobody could see me, even to check if the dog has a broken/fractured leg or a dislocated joint. They advised me to go to some other clinics around town but my foray into that suggestion did not fare well either, as most of them do not accept new walk-in patients and one that does, has an unknown amount of wait, which I was told, can be hours. I called back to set up an appointment, as the vet tech handing me the other clinics' information suggested. SO I called back to set up an appointment. Explained my situation. And closest appointment they could give me is about 3-4 weeks later. And the reason I was given, they are spay-and neuter clinic, more than anything else. Their website says they have emergency services available foir established patients, which all my dogs and cats are. Yet, they can not schedule me anytime reasonable closer? C'mon. This is not right. I have had another couple of incidents in the past, where I walked in with an injured dog and could be seen on the same day. WHy it is different this time around ? Are you guys changing the operation of the clinic to spay & neuter only? If so, an advance notice would be nice, so that I expect not to trust your clinic. Needless to say, I am very disappointed

Experiencia negativa: Took my cat to PETS a couple of weeks ago to get fixed around 7am . I was told I would receive a text when he was ready, which I received later that day the text stated he was awake and he was doing great and ready to be picked up so I went and picked him up . They said they gave him enough pain meds in his system to last 3 days well from the time we got him he was acting different and we made the call the next day and they said it was normal and to call back if he gets worse. So about a day after that my husband went to pet him and to love on him and he went number 2 on himself . We called PETS BACK and the vet tech said she would talk to the vet and get back to me. She called me back and told me that the vet said we couldn’t bring him after hours we could bring him in the morning but if he thought the issues with him wasn’t surgery related that they would require us to pay. Which baffled us because he’s been like this since we got him. Prior to his surgery our cat was a very sweet loving boy no issues at all! Anyways the next morning he passed ! We have been going to pets for awhile and the first time we decided to get one of our animals fixed this happens! We will never be returning!

Upon entrance into the clinic phone call call was made when They sedated her another call when She went into surgery,and the best call of all when She came our of surgery. The daily continued care of treatments required for healing I know She is getting the best of the very best care on her way to a complete recovery. I have used this clinic for many occassions for my pets. There has always been friendly and always seem to be interested, caring, and loving to my cats. Thank You from all of my heart.

We have never meet a more compassionate veterinarian. You can tell she loves her work & is dedicated to the cause. We are so happy that she is now our family Vet. My winnie dogs Zoey & Mr. Higgins absolutely ❤️ her. They give her 2 paws up!

Experiencia fantástica: PETS Clinic is wonderful I drive all the way from Altus,OK I won't take my babies anywhere else. They are kind, love both veterinarians that work there. Great atmosphere, and very helpful. They care about your fur babies and love on them like no other. And the prices are great. Took 2 of my dogs there at the same time only one had an appointment but squeezing the other one in was perfect one had a exam and medicine the other was getting there shots. I only paid $150 for all that very inexpensive price. So thank you again PETS Clinic for being there and working so hard to taking care of our fur babies. See you all soon

Experiencia fantástica: I just wanted to say PETS has been absolutely amazing with my fur baby Lewis. You have and are helping me through such a hard time since he started having siezures. Dr. Templar and everyone with her has been amazing with taking time with him and explaining everything to me as well. It has been very hard since he started having Siezures in Dec 2024 (25 total so far). Financially it has also been super hard as well. One of the managers Kari Banahan has also been super helpful and I also appreciate her so very much for helping me give him a fighting chance! All of you are an absolute blessing! So thankyou for helping me help him! You are all so very much appreciated!

Experiencia positiva: Other than one rude nurse all the other staff was amazing, the Dr was great the other nurse was amazing, the man that did our bill was amazing just one nurse ruined the visit, but I will still give 4 stars for all the others that were nice and not let the one person that was having apparently a bad day and had an attitude ruin the rating....

Experiencia negativa: Overall, they are pretty good with animals, and their pricing is very reasonable—one of the main reasons I choose them over other clinics. However, some of the technicians need more training and professionalism. At my recent visit, the vet finished with my cat around 12:30 and told me I was good to go. But the technician who drew blood told me to wait, so I stayed. That “wait” ended up turning into over 30 minutes after the appointment was done with no explanation. A tech with tattoos on his head came in briefly, worked on the computer without a word, then left. When I checked, I saw staff in the back chatting and was told “give us a second.” Another 15 minutes passed before I finally asked the vet directly—she looked surprised I was still there, apologized, and took me to check out. On top of that, during the blood draw itself, the technician made several failed attempts without gloves, using bare hands to spread alcohol and even wiping his hand on his clothes before proceeding. In human medicine this would never be acceptable. I still value the affordability and veterinary care here, but there are definite areas where professionalism, communication, and training need serious improvement.

Can't say enough good things about them and that's why I donate as much as possible, as can't think of a more deserving place than this one!

Experiencia negativa: Too many people for them to pay attention. Had 2 kittens neutered today, I had called and asked for no vaccines to be done because I already had them all done at their vet appt. The cat rescue also reached out and asked them to not do the vaccines. Today we received paperwork when they were being picked up after surgery and it shows they were given the rabies vaccine and a booster that they both already received 3 weeks ago. We brought the shot records and showed them prior to surgery yet they still did them. Seems very chaotic.

Experiencia fantástica: I have used PETS for over 5 years now. They have always been professional. They keep costs as low as possible but never at the expense of the quality of the service provided. Their on-line pharmacy is quick to respond. I high recommend both.

Experiencia fantástica: pets is a great place to take your dog and get its vaccination shots. and i dont have to hear a smart ellic remark from the vet like i heard 2 years in a row from the vet i use to go to in holliday at the holliday animal hospital because my little chihuahua started growling when that woman got in her face trying to look at her teeth i did not go to have her teeth checked just to get the vacine.and that woman vet in holliday is not a very good vet i know she is not as good as most vets.i told her to google blue gray color chihuahua or blue steele chihuahua. they say the poor blue steele chihuahua has undesirable characteristics. but i still love my little female chihuahua i just over look her bad characteristics and keep trying to train her but some things i cant get her to change.but she is the smartest little dog i have ever seen.she knows what i mean with almost every thing i say since im with here all the time and talk to her and tell her things constantly training her.and i rescued her when she was 6 months old and i knew right away she had been mistreated the way the poor little baby acted. p.e.t.s. clinic is a great place with very good people working there. some of the best people there. last year when i took my dog for vaccination and nail trim they did a poor job on nail trimming next time i will look at her toe nails close before i leave and make sure they trimmed her nails right.

Experiencia negativa: Last week I took my beloved dog -- a healthy, playful, loving, energetic, 5-year-old Great Pyrenees named "Sister" -- in for a routine spay. When the surgery was originally scheduled, my wife informed the clinic that we live 2 hrs from the clinic, so Sister would be in the car for 2 hrs post-surgery. My wife asked the clinic whether this could cause any problems or concerns, and was told that the post-surgery car ride would be no problem. We dropped Sister off at 7 am for surgery, with the understanding that we would pick her up at 4 pm to take her home. Later in the afternoon, the clinic called my wife to let her know that "Sister is recovering well" from the surgery and that Sister would be ready to go home at 4 pm that day. We arrived at the clinic just before 4 pm, at which time we were told by a Technician that "Sister is doing great" and "she's ready to go." We reminded the technician that we had a 2-hour drive ahead of us and asked whether such would be of any concern; we were told there was no concern. We left the clinic with Sister in our car shortly after 4 pm. Before we made it one full highway exit away from the clinic (less than 5 minutes), my wife became concerned over Sister exhibiting labored breathing. My wife immediately called the clinic and was essentially told we needn't worry, so we continued on our way home. When we got approximately 10 miles from the clinic, Sister began rapidly declining. Her breathing became extremely labored, her tongue was purple, her eyes were "bugging out," and she would not acknowledge me or take any water. We again called the clinic and were told to bring Sister back. Sister died in our car before we made it back to the clinic, less than 45 mins after leaving the clinic. Upon arriving to the clinic, Sister was taken on a gurney from our car to a surgery room, where staff performed CPR and other procedures on Sister. When my wife overheard one of the clinic staff say, "her heart isn't beating," my wife and I became deeply troubled and stood in disbelief as to what was happening. My wife exclaimed, "this is my fault - I did this to her!" I told her, "No, they did it to her." One of the clinic's staff members overheard this exchange, and by his glaring look and complete lack of compassion or understanding it was obvious that he didn't like me vocalizing the fact that the clinic killed Sister. I told my wife that if they lose Sister then I'll do everything in my power to have the clinic shut down. The aforementioned staff member stated that he had to leave before "doing something" to me. I told him I thought his idea was a good one because he'll be called as a witness later and I just want to know what's happening with my dog. He immediately turned around down the hallway and approached me in an aggressive manner, with his fists balled up, asking, "What did you say?!" As I watched some of the clinic's staff attempt to revive our dog that they killed, said staff member chose to get in my face and start an argument with me, apparently intending to turn the altercation into a physical one as his girlfriend repeatedly begged him to stop, which he eventually did. Once it became clear that Sister had been irrevocably killed, several clinic staff gave several conflicting excuses for the death, essentially blaming me and my wife for it in any case. Through related dialog, it was accidentally revealed that there actually were complications during the surgery that were not disclosed to us until after Sister died -- complications that should have warranted a hospital stay for observation. No one at the clinic expressed any genuine condolence or compassion until they realized I would contact the Tx. Board of Vet. Medical Examiners. It was all business - all money. When the necropsy results were ready, the clinic refused to talk about it, hired a lawyer, and told me any further communication must go through the lawyer. I have audio recordings and a lot of other evidence, which I'll be making public.

Experiencia fantástica: PETS is amazing. Our little Daschund Willie got hung up in a fence and gave himself nearly a concussion. PETS after hours took him in, stitched him up and cared for him 5 days. LOTS of great care, love and treatment. HIGHLY recommend this clinic for small animals. :)

Experiencia fantástica: Pets clinic is awesome I wish I would have found them sooner it is the only vet I know of that let's you go in the room with your pet while they do what they do this is the first time my dog (Monster) was NOT afraid of the vet, the people there treated Monster so well he loved all the attention from them all it was a great experience for Monster and myself FOR THE FIRST TIME in his 80 years of life I WILL NEVER TAKE MONSTER TO ANOTHER VETERINARIAN AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!! Experiencia fantástica: I am so glad someone told me about PETS! They have 8 vets that work there and are always kind. I only used them because of their Trap N Release (TNR) program for some feral cats from our neighborhood which is where they'll fix, rabbies vax and notch an ear for just the cost of the vaccine. They're non-profit and donations are always appreciated to keep costs down for EVERYONE. But after talking to the staff, I plan on bringing my dog sometime. TNR info is hard to find online but I was able to stop in (because they're busy and get a lot of voicemails) to find out some info. Call them for more questions! This is just to help someone with a couple tips that I told. - cats must be in live catch cage - spays/neuters are Monday-Thursday - drop off time is 0730-0830 M-Th - pick up time is promptly at 1630 for post-op info - they do not accept ferals if temp outside is 45° or less

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve had two animals need emergency care here. The first was my puppy and the guy was super sweet made sure she was ok and got her better. He donated money to help pay for her bill and I thought that was the sweetest thing. I don’t remember his name but he was amazing. We took our cat in and Selena and the other vet there was super kind and made sure she was fixed up and good after a really bad infection. ❤️ so grateful for them!!

Experiencia negativa: When they moved locations, there just not as good as they were before. Seems they have changed there stance on the no kill policy. As my client took her small dog in for anxiety and the first words out of the vets mouth was.. you may have to consider euthinization. Because the dog wasn't friendlytowards strangers, due to dogs anxiety which is why she was there.. I find it absurd that the first comment was to tell them to kill their dog.. she is now shopping around for another vet..

Experiencia fantástica: Took my daughter's dog in to get "fixed" and caught up on her shots. Although busy we checked the dog in for her surgery, they explained everything and what to expect for the next couple of hours and to retest 4pm We arrived about 10 minutes early but had to wait for others to arrive to pickup their pet and debriefed us basically telling us how to care for our pets after the surgery how much pain meds and not to give any that night but starting the next day. I really appreciate how efficient they were in the morning and evening . Their pricing is well below a regular vet for those on a fixed income or low income as well grants available to help pay for those receiving government assistance . Pet's are great companions I highly recommend PETs if you don't have a regular vet it'll save you money, the staff friendly and helpful at all times

They neutered him and it was such a nice clean job. You can barely tell where they cut. A really nice job. Thank you PETS!!

Experiencia fantástica: My Rouzey girl had a huge growth on her neck. The PETS staff took as good care of me as they did my dog. They always treat her with gentle kindness, even when she’s not being so nice. I love the entire staff., and wouldn’t DREAM of going to another vet!

Experiencia fantástica: We love this place. It has been such a godsend in helping us afford our pet's care. They have done all our vaccines, a spay, and other preventative care. The staff is SO KIND. It's amazing how the people who volunteer to be there are more friendly than staff at other facilities who get paid to be there! Ironic. They aren't a good option for emergent needs, but highly recommend for all preventative care!!

Experiencia fantástica: Everybody I encountered was friendly, polite, and passionate about their work. The vet techs were incredibly sweet and helpful, they made sure to comfort my cat throughout the entire process (he got 3 shots, a microchip, and blood work done all in one day). I was a walk in on Saturday (they offer this every 3rd Saturday each month) and was pleasantly surprised they were able to provide all the services I needed in the same visit. The wait time was almost an hour, but that’s normal for walk ins on the weekend at the most popular pet clinic in town. I arrived 30 min after they opened and 8 people were ahead of me so make sure to get here early. There is plenty of seating inside and a TV to help pass the time. This place definitely offers the lowest prices in Wichita Falls. I am so thankful to find a clean establishment with the best quality of care. I would recommend this place to friends and family because it’s a 10/10 pet clinic ⭐️

Experiencia fantástica: Have 2 small rescues and have been utilizing P.E.T.S. Clinic since I adopted them 7 plus years ago. My tiny rescue sees Simmons & Harlan Vet Clinic for his congenital heart problem and medication. However, both boys receive vaccinations, heartworm prevention and flea treatment and prevention from P.E.T.S. My boys are treated with TLC at every visit. Employees, veterinarians, and vet techs are friendly and very helpful. If you haven't been here, schedule an appointment and give them a chance. You won't be disappointed. On 6/18/2024, scheduled an appointment for both and the place was packed. However, we were treated very well. Allowed to checkout and pay in the back area and then escorted through a back exit which led to my vehicle. Amazing services. Big thank you to everyone there.

Experiencia fantástica: I had to take my Mavs in for immediate care, he was involved in a fight and the other dog got him good. I was so worried and stressed but the people at PETS put my mind at ease. When I first called it was on Sunday, the woman who answered the phone was patient, helpful, and did all she could to get me in as quickly as possible. I was able to take him in on Tuesday morning, the staff was welcoming, caring, and helpful. They answered all my questions, the vet who did the work on my boy came and talked to me explaining what had been done and what I needed to do for aftercare. All in all I couldn't be more grateful for all the help and care they provided for my Mavs. He's gonna be okay and it's because of PETS!

Our sweet dog was deeply anxious, and in the final stages of her time with us. We were able to schedule for the vet to come to our home and help her pass in the most gentle way possible. He got two teeth removed and his gums keep opening and they are constantly monitoring him to help him heal and keep the holes closed. They’re doing a wonderful job and I think he will be better completely healed soon thanks to their efforts. They are all amazing.

Experiencia fantástica: I absolutely love this place it’s so wonderful to be able to get my animals fixed and shots at low income price. They are very nice very welcoming. Never had no problems with my animals from getting fixed over there. They always do a great job and for the animals that absolutely need it they donate dog food or cat food 100% just love this place. It’s all around a good place and I’ve had at least six dogs in a couple cats fixed there.

Experiencia negativa: Where do I even start… this place had always been amazing for all of our pets. We had 3 animals that we brought to them for everything!! We never had issues with them always loved and supported what they do for our animals. However it’s sickening to know that god forbid your animal gets sick they can’t squeeze and existing client in for an appointment to tell you what’s wrong they are “took booked” and maybe they can see you in February. Well my cat didn’t make it to February, it took a caring heart veterinarian hospital 20 damn mins to tell me what was wrong with my baby. That’s all I needed from pets take the short amount of time to see my precious boy. I understand it wouldn’t of changed the fact that he was dying but to me y’all need to figure out a new booking system, to not give your existing clients of over 8 years anything is wrong. If you want to call yourselves a full service clinic figure it the hell out!!

Experiencia fantástica: Pet's clinic is awesome. Did not have appointment walked in. Within an hour they took us back clipped his nails gave him his rabies shot. We discussed getting heartworm. But I was scared to get the heartworm because I had one dog pass away after being wormed we did not know he had heart worms. So they told me to come back next month in February because is heartworm month. I will take him back get him tested and then get him wormed.

Experiencia fantástica: I love this place! They take such great care of your fur babies! I've taken my CeCe Darlin, a pug, there since I got her. She did great when she was spayed, gotten her nails clipped, and her shots. I get her heartworm prevention meds as well as her flea and tick meds in the summer at a cost I can afford. The Dr's and staff are so caring and calm! They even have peanut butter or a treat for good babies. Even the clientele with cats or dogs is nice. Plus, you can make appointments when needed. They also take donations! I give five-stars here!
