Experiencia fantástica: Really glad I found this place. My dog Maple had a huge cut on her that got infected, and they saw her the same day. Within 4 hours, Maple had surgery, and was all fixed up ready to go home. Everyone was very friendly and knowledgeable. Fantastic practice and I highly recommend it. All of my dogs will now be switched to Luv N Care. I also wanted to point out the prices are very reasonable!

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve been coming to Luv n Care Animal hospital since I rescued my fur baby 5 years ago. I think very highly of the vets and staff. So much so, that after moving downtown 2 years ago, I still drive to Longwood to bring him here. I’ve recently added a new edition to our family and I bring her here, as well. She was well taken care of during her spaying procedure. They staff on top of your pets health and send notifications when upcoming care is coming due. Thank you to all of your for all the Luv n care given to my fur babies while In your care!

Experiencia negativa: I had a terrible experience with Luv-N-Care when I took my dog, Luna, for her C-section. Initially, I was quoted one price, which I agreed to and planned for. However, on the day of the procedure, they gave me a completely different price that was significantly higher than what we had discussed. This felt manipulative and unprofessional, especially during an already stressful time when my pet’s health was at stake. It became clear to me that they value price over the safety and health of pets. Their focus seemed more on squeezing out extra money than on providing compassionate and trustworthy care. I would not recommend this clinic to anyone who values transparency and genuine concern for their pet’s well-being.
Ms. Yun Uu, you all brought Luna, your French Bulldog, in on 09/26 for a reproduction consultation and a progesterone test to discuss timing of insemination for breeding and whether or not you wanted to do natural or artificial. You then brought her back in on 11/15 for a pregnancy check, where Dr. Steger confirmed that she was in fact pregnant. At that visit, we discussed timing of c-section and what that would entail, including the cost of the c-section which an estimate was created and given to you all at that time (it is in her record with the date). The estimate that was provided to you at that visit was $3,042.80. The same estimate was provided to you yesterday when you brought Luna in for her c-section, there was no change in our pricing at all and we have the documentation in her chart. You also had a progesterone test run on Luna yesterday to the cost of $137.83 here at our clinic to ensure that she was in fact ready for a c-section and walked out without paying your bill. You have not answered our phone calls to collect payment either. Aggressiveness is not tolerated at our clinic and your records will be sent to you as well as your account will be made inactive. Breeding is an elective procedure, and our responsible breeders come to us from the start to finish, including c-section and post natal care, without complaint as we strive to provide the top care to all of our patients here at Luv-N-Care. We would appreciate you paying the balance on your bill, or we will send you to collections if not paid appropriately. If you have any other questions or concerns regarding the visit yesterday with Luna we would be more than happy to answer in a calm, respectful manner on both parts.

Experiencia negativa: * 0Star Review** I would give zero stars if I could. Love and Care Hospital is the worst, especially the receptionist, Hannah, who demonstrated horrible communication skills. We were initially given a quote for a C-section, but on the day of the procedure, the price was drastically changed. This is nothing short of taking advantage of people during a vulnerable and distressing time. The staff showed no empathy, and it was clear they prioritize profit over patient care. They are master manipulators, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Save yourself the heartache and go elsewhere. Experiencia fantástica: We’ve experienced very “loving” and great care for our pet with this firm. Our dog had extensive dental surgery and was treated for pancreatitis at Luv-N-Care and the staff was careful, patient, answered all our questions and helped us to come up with the best and most affordable care for our pet. I never feel rushed or pushed to make decisions. I love that the practice is open on weekends and at the times our dog has needed care urgently, they always find a way to squeeze us onto the schedule. Great folks!

Experiencia fantástica: Absolutely love, Luv-n-care animal Hospital . I give them a very high rating because I live in Deltona Florida and I’m not gonna mention their names but the Veterinarian and I took my dog to twice. Said he had nothing wrong with his ears and indeed he does have something wrong so loving Care was the ones that cropped my dogs ears and neutered him. 2 1/2 years ago and because they are so far away from me, that’s why I don’t come here regularly, but I believe I am going to make this my regular veterinarians doctor for my pets because they are fabulous. The staff here goes over and above to take care of your animals and also makes you feel comfortable, and I say God bless them

Experiencia negativa: My baby boy was diagnosed with prostate cancer this past Friday. Initially, I was very grateful because they got him in fairly quickly. But once he got the diagnosis, that was it from them. I had no direction, no options, and no support. I was overwhelmed and devastated and anytime I asked questions or asked for any sort of comfort for him while he was painfully straining to urinate, they said that to wait to see what the oncologist said. I joined a prostate cancer support group and asked if they could switch Fritz from the anti-inflammatory he was currently on to one of the ones suggested by other people going through the same thing. But instead, they told me that I should wait until he goes to the oncologist in two weeks. While I understand, they are not cancer specialists, I feel like they did not listen to my concerns nor did they care about how Fritz was feeling or struggling urinate. Deep down, I know they care, as they are in this profession to help animals. But it made me feel like I was alone and that they would not do anything to help him. I had to call multiple oncologists on my own and finally was able to get him an appointment for July 16. Since his oncology appointment was so far out, I went back in desperation into the vet clinic yesterday to try and alleviate his difficulty urinating by seeing if they could express his bladder and they told me it would make it worse, which I certainly understand. But what I don’t understand is that they didn’t bother to do anything else. They didn’t look at his prostate, they didn’t offer to prescribe him anything, they didn’t even look at him. I know I was a walk-in and they were busy, but I would’ve waited however long it took to try and help my baby. But they didn’t offer that. Instead, the vet tech told me that when her dog couldn’t urinate, they had to euthanize him. And when I asked her, if there was anything else I could do, she said “ Dr. Lane says as long as he is dribbling, he will be ok,” I then asked to have Dr. Lane call me which I never received a phone call from her, not even today. So I left there bawling my eyes out and had to take him to an emergency vet. It was the emergency vet who catheterized him to alleviate his pain yesterday evening. It was the emergency vet who called the oncologist and got him in there first thing this morning. It was the emergency vet who called to check on him this morning. And It was the emergency vet who made me feel like my dog was cared about. And then when I went to the oncologist this morning, they said that he was still in so much pain and that he couldn’t pass the urine so I had to make the difficult decision to say goodbye to my best friend through at home euthanasia. Both the emergency vet and the oncologist who just met Fritz made me feel like they cared more than the vet he’d been going to for 4 years. I am very disappointed and will never take an animal here again.

Try Healthy pets Urgent care after Luv n Care charge me and arm an a leg to have stitches removed healthy care did it free of charge also the communication sucks Publix tried calling Love n Care because they made a mistake on the prescription and couldn't get in touch with them until I got off at 5 smh oh yea no treats for dogs on visit you most likely will have to buy one of their expensive bags

Experiencia negativa: I've been taking my dogs to this clinic for a few years now. Having previously worked at vet clinics for 8 years, I was always a bit surprised at how impersonal things were at this clinic, but I thought perhaps it was post-covid changes that had the doctors cloistered away. It's been a few years and I guess this is just how they operate. I have a dog that is being treated for heart-worm. I have seen a doctor one time for the entire process (its been three months). There was one phone call with a doctor early on, and if memory serves, that was it. My dog has been passed back and forth between doctors for treatment, one doctor saying she did not need prednisone, another doctor later in the process sending home a bottle of it. When I asked if she needed pred the first time she was being treated, a tech told me that no, she did not because she wasn't coughing. The next treatment, I was told, yes she needed it for pain? Which is it? Why can't I speak to an actual doctor about this? Additionally, early on in the treatment she was prescribed Doxycycline for a period of time. I gave the pills for the allotted time and amount religiously, and yet at the end there was about an extra weeks worth of pills dispensed. No one could explain why, so I am assuming it was in error. Not a huge deal, but sloppy. Today was the final straw for me. I have a dog that gets nervous when away from me, and tends to anal gland when getting examined in their back room. The techs never wipe her up afterwards and I generally have to juggle her in the lobby and beg them for a paper towel before I check out. I made an appointment for her via the online system, and ordered some sedation (as was recommended) for my dog and picked it up prior to the visit the day before. I came in today and they had no clue why I was there because my appointment wasn't in their system. Apparently because I messaged back (they use a text message system now and a web portal) after hours confirming the day and time, it was never booked. So I picked up sedation the day before my appointment, chatted with the person at the desk on the phone and in person about what it was for, took time off of work to drive over and retrieve the medication, sedated my dog the next day, and took time off of work again to bring her in the next day, all to be met with a blank stares when I arrived, asking what I was there for. It was a tremendous waste of time, and it really drove home how little this clinic cares for my pets, even after being a client for several years and spending thousands of dollars there this year alone. Additionally, instead of dispensing the three pills she needed for sedation for the visit, they dispensed 25 pills for which I paid $35. Excessive. So I paid $35 for sedation so that the techs wouldn't have to wipe her up or keep her in the room with me, for an appointment which was never scheduled. It was too much. I collected both my dogs' records and am going to start looking for a different clinic. I am really sad and disappointed about this, and it has taken a lot to get me this frustrated as I am not a big review writer.

Experiencia fantástica: Took our fearful and reactive dog and Dr. Lane and Sara, our vet tech, were absolutely incredible. Moved at his pace, let him be as comfortable as possible, and got everything including bloodwork done with the least amount of stress he has ever had at the vet! This was the first time he hasn’t peed all over the floor at the vet!

Experiencia fantástica: I had a great experience bringing my cat Waffle for a consultation for an echocardiogram. We were supposed to come back next week for the actual echocardiogram but when they I heard I live an hour away they squeezed us in to have it done today. The vet was super sweet and thoroughly answered all my questions in an easy way to understand. You can tell the all the staff deeply care and love the animals they take care of. We didn’t even have to wait to be called in they checked us in an immediately we went into a room. If we lived closer I would love to have them as our regular vet.

Experiencia positiva: I've been coming here for years with all my dogs. Great staff and they always take great care of my pups. Their service plans has helped with shots and routine exams. Dog care can get pricey and I believe they are just as expensive as any other place in the area so I definitely stay based off the staff interactions they are truly a great set of people

We were very nervous having this done because it can go wrong quickly and your stuck with the results. The doctors and staff were extremely patient and friendly with us and our baby Konan. Top notch work with the ear cropping and care of our pup. Definitely worth the trip.

Experiencia negativa: We brought my bunny here to get her hair untangled and they SHAVE her private area. I brought her back home and she couldn’t even walk, she was laying flat on the floor. We spent all night next to her and she passed the next morning. We came back and spoke to the vet and the people in charge and they got mad because I was translating everything in Spanish to my mom. This was the worst experience ever and I feel we couldn’t do anything about it. If you have a bunny don’t bring it here and be aware of this experience in general with any of your pets so it doesn’t happen to you.

Experiencia fantástica: I had a medical emergency with my rabbit, and Leticia was patient and worked with me to be able to get her seen the same day, all the staff are very nice, and the doctor and techs are very knowledgeable and know what they're doing. The receptionist and vet tech staff are all so kind and welcoming, often bending over backwards to help clients and pet parents. Experiencia negativa: I went in on Sunday with my 14 year old dog and asked if she needed to be put down because she was having respiratory issues vomiting and not eating. I was told no and that she was healthy they did an expensive work up and said she had heart failure and gave her IV fluids, meds for nausea, appetite, hypertension and heart failure. Later that night she was working extra hard to breathe so I called back in the morning and asked again what to do they told me they could do an emergency exam and give her more care when I asked again about euthanasia they said “if you want to go that route” making me feel like my dog was ok and that I was wrong it is now 2 days after I brought her there and spent a ton of money on meds and a work up which all would not matter if it helped my dog and was made to feel that my dog was healthy and she died at home today. I would have much preferred she been put to rest on Sunday peacefully then have her go through 2 days at home and then die. I am unsure the motives of this place if they really felt my baby was ok or if they just wanted money but I would never recommend them to anyone. I should have been given the option to put my 14 year old dog to rest peacefully and I was not. Instead I was made to feel like I was wrong about an animal I have loved and cared for and that she was in much better shape then she was. Since I can’t post a response under your response I will just hear. I will not go back and forth or call you about what happened with my baby as I am quite clear on the facts. My partners only question during the visit was is it time to put her down. The response was no and at that point my partner left and we decided to do all the tests that I felt were unnecessary. Of course I agreed when I was told it was not time to euthanize I had no choice or to bring home my baby sick. We had cried all morning because we came in to put her to rest. That night she went into complete respiratory distress and when I called and asked the next day what to do and about euthanasia specifically I was given a snide response that made me feel like I was over reacting. I work with chronic conditions for a living I am in health care and heart failure is my specialty I had already researched all her symptoms and did not need your hand outs I knew it was her time but was given false hope and made to feel I was wrong. I was not told her b/p was “very high” just it was high and I was told she was at a stage 3-4 of 6 in her heart failure. Since you were not the person I was dealing with and obviously are incorrect about the facts of the scenario I don’t appreciate your lies. I was very realistic in my expectations for her life I deal with death in humans for a living and didn’t want her to suffer. So while you have to defend your clinic it was wrong the vet was wrong and I would never recommend your facility to anyone. You trying to recreate history cannot change my opinion.
Ms. Bagley, First, we would like to extend our deepest sympathies for the passing of your girl Missy. On Sunday January 7th you brought her in for vomiting, and having a chronic cough for several months. Upon examination, a new heart murmur was found and discussed with you and your partner. At that time we discussed doing blood work and x-rays to determine a full clinical picture of her condition and you were presented with an estimate of cost for all services recommended, of which you approved. We discussed the heart being very enlarged, her blood pressure being extremely high, but her blood work looking ok. It was never stated that Missy was "healthy", as heart conditions can be, and typically are, very serious. Humane euthanasia was never mentioned by you, or your partner, at this visit as we continued to discuss medications that could potentially help her condition and that is what you approved after diagnostics. It was also mentioned to you that if she is not improving in the next 24-48 hours to bring her back in immediately, and you were sent home with multiple articles discussing heart failure and how serious this condition can be for further knowledge. On Monday January 8th you called asking what to do about her not doing better, where you were quoted and emergency exam fee as well as the cost for humane euthanasia had you decided that this was the route that was best for Missy. Upon you being given those options you stated to our receptionist that you would call us back. We are here for all situations, whether that be to diagnose and treat, or humanely say goodbye to your beloved friends, and present you all with all options that you seem to be interested in that day respectively and only perform what is approved by you at that time. Again, we are so sorry about Missy, if you would like to discuss her condition further and what was offered to you the times you were seen and talked to over the phone you can reach us at (407) 767-0606 and we would be happy to discuss.
Experiencia negativa: They wanted almost $1,900 to drain some fluid from my dog’s ear. My dog essentially had wrestlers ear. Imagine demanding almost $2,000 an hour to do something that children regularly do to eachother after wrestling practice and then still pretending like you care about animals… Update: I drained my dogs ear myself, all for about $30 worth of supplies from Walgreens and ended up saving myself over $1,800. I’m thinking about opening up my own veterinary practice.

Experiencia fantástica: I came here originally for an emergency during one of the hurricanes in 2022. Emergency visits are usually pretty high in price but for what they offered it was affordable. I was so happy with them that I made them my regular vet for my pitty :) my dog is reactive to other dogs and becomes nervous easily. They handled it well! The receptionist is always nice on the phone and in person, the techs are educated and overall it seems like everyone enjoys working here!

At that time, he couldn't even go up or down steps. One of his joints was completely out of the socket due to bad breeders. He can now run, jump and play and have a pretty normal life. Luv-N-Care saved his life. When I found out Husky Haven uses them for all their husky rescues, I knew my husky would be in good hands.

Experiencia fantástica: I switched to this vet about 5 months ago when my golden became pregnant. She normally has a ton of anxiety at the vet and my last veterinarian continuously pushed me to spay her, even after I explained I was hoping to breed. The staff at Luv-N-Care is amazing! They actually take the time to get to know their patients and Nala is much happier at this vet than any other I’ve been to! I took all 6 puppies here for their first vaccinations and loved hearing all the squeals and loving words pouring out of every staff member when we came in. I decided to keep a puppy, Poppy, and she LOVES going to the vet so much. I’ve seen several negative reviews about the staff and that is absolutely mind boggling to me! They have all been incredibly kind when I’ve called or come in, Jordan is especially sweet. They love on both my dogs and are always happy to help schedule an appointment. They veterinarians have all been knowledgeable and listen to my concerns without belittling my thoughts. Both my girls are healthy and happy thanks to Luv-N-Care!

He had to stay overnight but I felt comforted knowing he was in good hands. I would recommend them to anyone.

Experiencia negativa: I tried making an appointment for an ultrasound for my puppy and apparently they only do “drop off” for a simple ultrasound that maybe takes 10 minutes to do, makes no sense??? Plus the lady on the phone had an unnecessary attitude can sense her negative energy. 10/10 don’t recommend this location.
Ms. Thrailkill, Upon looking up your account it appears as though you have an account set up for Gracie, Napkin, and Ruby but have not brought any of your babies in to see us. For ultrasounds we do require that you come in for a consultation first to determine if an ultrasound truly is needed as we are not a referral center and our doctors need to understand what is going on with your baby before continuing with further diagnostics. Also, for the ultrasound appointment itself, they are done upon drop-off basis as they do not take "just 10 minutes", they take about 20-30 minutes to do a full abdominal ultrasound, plus we send them to a board certified radiologist and have to consult with them to ensure they have received all of the images of your baby to get the best idea of what is going on with her. Consulting with the radiology service is done upon appointment during the day so we also have to coordinate with them as well, which can cause further delays. Our receptionists are well versed on the type of appointments and the time that needs to be allocated for them. We apologize you had a negative experience with us, if you have any other questions or concerns regarding your puppy, we would be happy to address them, 407-767-0606

Experiencia fantástica: I was very pleased with my visit. My Boston Terrier had a torn nail and it wasn't healing. When I brought him in, we were attended to immediately with no waiting. The care was excellent and he has healed nicely. Although rather expensive, this type of care is what I want for my fur baby!
